More action-arcade game than educational trek across the cosmos, this game invites children to fly with Nikolai and his sidekick cat, Neow Neow, to recover a secret formula stolen by the game's villains. Along the way, kids partake in games that involve dodging asteroids, shooting robots, and racing other ships. One game serves up a first-person cockpit view of space in which kids shoot at incoming asteroids, robots, and mines. Players don't actually control the ship - they simply shoot anything that moves and gather energy cells to maintain the shields. The second game lets kids control the title characters, making them duck and shoot at approaching robots. |
