The story of this free educational game made with Dark Basic begins in the early second century. C. Baetica then overflowing splendor and recognition throughout the Roman Empire. There, Cayo Vallio Maximian, retired general and personal friend of Trajan, quietly lives his with his militia (BA army) and his wife and children, running their "businesses". In his position as servus (slave) is our main character, Teophoros, a learned Greek in arithmetic, mathematics, arts, geography and grammar. Teophoros works as magister (teacher) of the children of Cayo, and after so many years of faithful service and loyalty, love, in gratitude, he promises to grant freedom with the signing of a sealed document (manumission per epistulam), so he would cease to be a slave to become libertus (free man).
The night before the delivery of the letter of freedom, Cayo Vallio is killed and a number of documents he had in his office disappear. Our character finds his dead master and realizes that the letter was in the stolen manuscripts. Your desired freedom is in danger so he decides, with the risks that this may cause, to find the murderer and his document. Here the adventure begins. Teophoros goes through the different cities of Andalusia Roman Road gathering information and trying to discover the whereabouts of the murderer. To do this in every city will have to find a way to continue their research by testing or asking different characters who he will encounter in the course of the game. This is an adventure of mystery, wit and action. |
