The 6th Alternative is a French interactive FMV movie with areas clickable that appear from time to time. The initial project is aimed to mix a purely cinematic film with these interactive elemtns during the game before leaving the film. Directed by Marc-André Grynbaum, the non-interactive version of the film lasts 90 minutes while it contains over 5 hours of filmed content. 3 CD-ROMs contain the game. With a big budget (30 million francs) and recognized actors, it is a unique production in France. The game's story is like a classic thriller seen on Friday night on a public channel: a corpse is discovered and we will follow agroup of cops to solve it. You are the leader and you give them instructions to investigate. |
