This is the first role-playing game in Generation XTH series. In the year 20XX Tokyo is filled with supernatural beings. To overcome the strange incident the government formed a secret organization known as "X". The members are boys and girls with special ability in combat and their activities are fight monsters in top secret operations. This plays like a traditional role playing game where players control a character or party of characters, exploring town or dungeon and fights through various enemies. When the party encounters monsters the view switches perspective to first-person menu-based battles and players are presented with several options on a menu. Outside of battle, players are presented with a dialogues screen similar to visual novel which sometimes gives several options and routes. |
