Hylics is a recreational program with light JRPG elements. It's made with Adventure Game Studio but uses surreal art and animations. The people and places in Hylics have the pliable, crumpled quality of half-molded clay, multicolored dough rolled up into vaguely humanoid shapes, tubes, plants, creatures. Lindroth has used claymation in previous games and the technique looks excellent here. There's random text to create moments like: throwing a frozen burrito at a cone cultist. Or casting mystic meat. Features: Advanced graphics; RPG battles; Overuse of random text generation; 2+ hours of content. | ||
