Sultan's Labyrinth, The: A Royal Sacrifice BrutoMemo Entertainment, Seven Sails Comunicacao e Desenvolvimento Ltda. / Big Fish Games Inc. 2010

A long time ago, Bahar the Sultan of Persia passed away, leaving the throne to his son-in-law Tallis. As people mourned the death of the beloved monarch, a genie suddenly appeared, interrupting the royal burial ceremony to claim Bahar's soul for his sinful past. Tallis begged to the magical being in behalf of Bahar, prompting the devious creature to mischievously sent him to a maze filled with traps and puzzles. Now he must transverse it to complete the challenge and atone for the sultan's sins. Like its predecessor, this is a hidden object game with adventure elements. Each chapter has three rooms, where the player must gather all the objects, and use them to solve any puzzle found on the scene. Instead of a list, the interface at the bottom shows an image of the object that has to be collected, whose pieces are scattered around the scenery. After being reassembled, the item is stored inside one of the inventory slots, from where it can be dragged and dropped on logical portions of the scenery to perform an action or complete a task. The player must go back and forth between the available rooms, to collect all the objects and complete the chapter. The hint button is a genie lamp that shows the position of one of the required pieces, but takes some time to recharge after use. There are several mini-games taking place on separate screens, where the player has to play a musical sequence on a keyboard, distribute pieces of fruits of varying size on bowls, and complete other similar challenges. These puzzles give an inventory item after being solved, and can be optionally skipped after a few minutes.
