Mahoutsukai Ni Naru Houhou [J] TGL 1997

This Japanese role-playing game from the makers of the Farland series was later released on Sega Saturn in 1998 and Playstation in 1999. The game's focus seems to be the learning (and creation) of magic in a simulation, static screen fashion which reminds of Gust's Atelier series or even Princess Maker. In order to do that, you have to move through different locations, which is where you do control your sprite in a 3D environment not unlike Grandia's world. It's there where you have enemy encounters and find items and ingredients. So the game's quite text heavy. It's not the usual RPG and menus are in full kanji. The game features a 2d first person perspective in the story part and third person perspective 2d characters and a camera angles that the player can zoom in and out and rotate 360 degrees. In order to become a worthy witch, you must pick up the material in the forest that creates magic. About 150 species, the number of magic material is hearty and about 70 species. Clear the challenges that are out of the teacher in order to formulate and gather the material in the forest of magic, remember the magic to make a scroll of magic for the purpose of, and witch-fledged choose one person from the apprentice wizard three All Theatre. Features: Third & First person perspectives, 2D graphics, Cartoon graphics, Medieval Fantasy theme.
