You play a young girl who has been given a magical amulet. Now it's
up to you to find three more people with similar amulets, and together defeat
an evil wizard. The game is long enough to match commercially released
adventures, and the story has enough twists and turns to keep you occupied
for a long time. The best part of the game, however, is the writing. The
gameplay is very linear, but thanks to the multitude of side quests, you'll
never notice how tightly you are controlled by the authors. In addition, the
title features plenty of very interesting and authentic non-player characters
with their own deep backgrounds and agendas. The Czech development team has
been heavily influenced by Central European folklore and older Czech animated
fairytales, which is evident in the somewhat unusual graphics, as well as
certain game elements. However, this just gives the title a distinct charm,
which makes it even more appealing to the players. It was made with the
Wintermute Engine. |
