This is a refreshed version of a successful RPG that debuted in 2010 on the Nintendo DS. A year later it was released on PlayStation 3 in extended form, and the remaster is based on this edition. Both the original and the new edition are the responsibility of the Japanese studio known from such series as Professor Layton or Yo-kai Watch. The game does not make any changes to the plot of the PS3 prototype. The script tells the story of a boy named Oliver, who falls into the river while testing a new racing car. His mother saves him from death, but the woman dies soon afterwards. Despairing after her death, Oliver cries into a toy mascot that he received as a gift from her. His tears revived the toy and it invites him to the magical world. In this new land, all the people of our reality have a double who is inextricably linked to them. The boy quickly discovers that his mother is a powerful wizard here fighting the evil magician. The hero decides to join this fight, hoping that defeating the villain will bring his parent back to life. It's a classic Japanese RPG. While playing, we explore the world, conduct conversations and undertake to solve tasks. The gameplay puts a lot of emphasis on the fight. Production offers a hybrid skirmish system. During battles, characters move in real time, but actions can only be performed every few seconds. Magic plays a key role in clashes. People are physically weak and the most effective attacks require the use of spells and fantastic creatures to obey the player's orders. Compared to the original, this remaster offers a slightly improved gameplay. Technical bugs and bugs have been fixed and the campaign balance has been improved. The prototype gained fame thanks to the beautiful three-dimensional visual setting, made in cartoon style. The authors collaborated with the legendary animation studio Ghibli (Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away: In the Land of the Gods) and the graphics had the characteristic style of this band. This has all these advantages, and the authors have made some of the graphics more beautiful and fun at higher resolutions, so that the charming cartoon binding looks even better. |
