The world is a vast, beautiful and dangerous place – especially when you have been shrunk to the size of an ant. Can you thrive alongside the hordes of giant insects, fighting to survive the perils of the backyard? Tasks that are simple for a man of standard dimensions become a real challenge for the heroes of the game. While playing, we are forced to collect resources, craft items and build a base using a variety of everyday objects. During the game, we can choose between first- and third-person view. The world of the game is inhabited by both peaceful animals and aggressive creatures (e.g. spiders or ants), which hunt the players. We deal with our enemies using our own primitive weapons, such as spears and bows. We can also create armor and trampolines for fast travel through locations. The game boasts extensive Artificial Intelligence modules that reproduce the behavior of animals. For example, ants function as colonies. After finding something interesting (e.g. us) ant scouts leave pheromones, which allow other ants to reach the same place or receive a warning against the players. Moreover, our development does not go unnoticed and our expansion will sooner or later bring the anger of the local fauna to us. The fun is diversified by a technology tree. In it we slowly unlock better and better items, weapons and structures, which make it easier to deal with more and more serious threats. In addition to the typical sandbox gameplay, there are also many story missions. |
