Becher's Dream is an independent point-and-click adventure made with Flash, that won the second prize in 2002 at Becherovka Game Contest. The plot is put into the turbulent time of turn from 18th to 19th century. In the role of Jan Becher, the founder of Becherovka, you discover the circumstances that led to the invention of this mysterious and reputed curative herbal bitter. You play a young man who had a dream about war coming in the 19th century, and he sets out to stop it by finding a magical potion that will supposedly bring about peace. You will need to solve many different puzzles, talk to many different people, and get many different items to help in your quest. But be warned, there are people who would rather see you fail, and allow war to come about. |
