This is a first-person puzzler you can play solo or in an online co-op. Explore a growing set of highly interactive escape rooms. Move furniture, pick up and examine everything, smash pots and break locks. Supports community-made rooms through the level editor. Interactive Puzzles: Rummage through 20 rooms filled with puzzles designed by real-life escape room operators. If something is not nailed to the wall, you can pick it up. Online Co-Op: All the rooms are playable in an online co-op. Customize your character and join in with a friend to work-out puzzles together. Two heads are better than one. Examine Everything: Read through books, examine ancient artifacts and find clues to riddles. Need to cross-reference a clue? No, problem - just pin it to the screen. Community-Made Rooms: The game includes a room editor with which you can design your own escape rooms and puzzles. Through workshop integration, you get to play awesome things the community has created. Twenty rooms are arranged into packs: Labyrinth of Egypt - "You and your mentor discovered the ancient Labyrinth of Egypt. By accident, he activated a trap, and you got separated, with no way out in sight." Adrift in Space - "An explosion wakes you up. Your spaceship has been hit by debris, and you're heading straight into the sun." Edgewood Mansion - "You were invited to attend a special dinner at Dr. Edgewood's mansion. Instead of eating food, you'll be solving a victorian mystery." On Apr 2/2024, Escape Simulator VR, a free update was released. It was rebuilt from the ground up to be a comfortable and highly immersive VR experience. Pick up and examine everything, break objects, solve locks, and decipher puzzles to escape. After finishing the main game, watch for free content updates and explore 3000+ rooms built by the community. Physics is central to the gameplay, bringing you as close as possible to real-life escape rooms. Every object in the room that is not nailed down can be picked up, examined, and interacted with. You figured out that the item is not important for your puzzle? Feel free just to toss it away. Move furniture around to access secret compartments and find hidden objects. It supports all the standard locomotion types such as teleport, smooth move, controller-based movement, and being able to be played in the full room-scale setting. There is also snap-turning, seated, and stationary mode. Two hands are not required. The game is playable in co-op with up to 8 players with full voice support. Discuss puzzles, share items, and solve challenges together with friends. You’re also able to play with players who have the non-VR version. For base room packs 2-3 players are recommended, and extra rooms get a recommendation for up to 4 players. But nothing is stopping you from throwing a full 8 player party. It features 25 original rooms made in collaboration with real-world escape room designers. Rooms are separated into four theme packs with five rooms each: Labyrinth of Egypt, Adrift in Space, Edgewood Mansion, and Omega Corporation. The game features an additional set of five one-off extra rooms. But we're not stopping here. Expect more exciting free content updates in the future.
