This is a sci-fi noir adventure game that uses full-motion video. You assume the role of Alice Sanger, private eye. She is assigned to get a briefcase, but quickly finds herself immersed in a web of corruption and shadowy motives. What follows is a mysterious journey through the layers of a future metropolis influenced by the style of noir movies from the 1950s. Somewhere in the near future people's lives are determined by their genes. At birth a small chip is implanted and DNA-samples are taken to determine their capabilities. Live is plotted out by this implanted chip called PeCap (personal capability). Rebellion has spread throughout the world, to undermine the government responsible for these chips. In retaliation the government has developed a new update for PeCap: the ability to temporarily shut down it's carrier. On the eve of this undertaking a private detective gets unwillingly involved, events are in motion in an attempt to destroy the government's plans. Live action is shot entirely against green screen with HD cameras. An intriguing story played out in several episodes. And many different locations beautifully rendered in 3D for you to emerge in. |
