This is a non-battle RPG adventure made with RPG Maker that takes place in a city under siege. You play as Lohn, a young boy who is the sole survivor of the siege. Wandering the streets in desperation, Lohn meets a nobly-dressed man who offers him a chance to bring his hometown back to life. Without knowing his intentions, Lohn accepts on the man's offer, and the game begins. You steer your character with the cursor-keys. In addition to that you will need the action key to interact with people and objects. Also the game provides several small in-game skill games, the controls of which will be explained before the game starts. You have a possiblitiy to save and load at any time you like. Intro and cutscenes are script-sequences in the game's typical graphic in its small resolution. It has nice music and hand-drawn backgrounds. The resolution is VGA, but the graphic's design is beautiful and with much attention to details. Five big maps with lots of rooms, each in a different season and actual condition. Also, and most important for an adventure, the story is masterly told and the puzzles are reasonable. |
