This cd chronicles the unexplained in a blend between a game and a reference
CD-ROM. It delves into information on UFOs, reincarnation, the Loch Ness Monster and
and other controversial stuff. Video, picture and sound richly present the
inexplicable and the unexplained, but don't mistake it as just a book in CD-ROM
format. The information within is presented through a 3D environment much like that
of Myst. Curious artefacts, statues, and symbols are scattered throughout the domain,
each containing its own story. Fifteen virtual environments are accessible through
puzzles, further blurring the line between game and reference book. The presentation
leans heavily to the 'unsolvable' with hard evidence being glossed over in favour
of fanciful speculation. It's an engaging romp through some of the world's best-known 'unexplained' phenomena and a refreshing change from the standard encyclopaedic
outlay and the depth of content is satisfying. |
