Dissension: Voices of Justice (cancelled) Rob McConnell / Digital Legends 2001

Dissension begins a new renaissance in interactive entertainment and was made with 3D Studio Max. Digital Legend's unique style of adventure will engage your mind and challenge your emotions as you explore the massive bustling city of Na'brevath. Interact with dozens of realistic characters whose carefully modeled relationships and feelings can not only change through your choices but will affect who helps and hinders you along your way. Unhindered by meaningless, frustrating puzzles or random, graphic violence, Dissension uses age-old storytelling techniques to create a dramatic and suspenseful adventure that will set new standards within the industry. The first chapter follows Caleth, a young university student, as he seeks meaning to his unrelenting nightmares. Planned as a multi-episode adventure, only the first Chapter 1: Voices of Justice came out with a preview demo. The game was entered in the 2002 Independent Game Festival (IGF) competition.
