This was a nice looking adventure from a Swiss developer that produced a playable demo but the project never made it to retail. It featured high resolution / 65536 colors smooth character and background animation and smooth scrolling with foreground parralax, hand drawn backgrounds, and full screen animated 3D sequences (over 10 minutes). Plus it had orchestral music, a fast, intuitive interface, day/night lightsources, and weather conditions (snow, rain, wind). The story starts out with a young man named Natas finding himself in a swamp being chased by monks but not knowing why. A dwarf named Asylar helps him evade them and takes him to his home. After the dwarf leaves, Natas falls asleep and has a disturbing dream of a child at home with his parents on a stormy night. A spirit seems to leave the father and enter the child who seems the same but has a creepy smile. The father grabs a knife and advances on the boy but the wife intervenes and and is struck down. Continuing to chase the boy in the woods, the boy suddenly is unafraid and turns to his father who then falls dead. Natas awakens from this dream disturbed by it. | ||
