The Prisoner is by an Austrian developer. We are in the Middle Ages, in a port city. An alchemist was arrested because it is believed that he is in league with the devil. Our mission is to free him. It is not done with violence, but only with using your head. The intro shows us a little insight into this epoch, although this is also quite short. Graphically, "The Prisoner" for a fanadventure, and especially as a first work, is well done. Primarily it impresses with film sequences that occur from time to time and voice acting. It uses the graphics program Cinema 6. A major strength that is brought to the fore is the presentation and puzzle design: art, dialogue and inventory puzzles enrich the game and are of a high standard. Sometimes you have to move fast because otherwise you will be punished with death. |
