But beware. Make the wrong choice, and you could end up dead. Delving into themes of free will and the delicate nature of relationships and the choices we make, this action-adventure-puzzle game is an experience unlike anything else. From the all-star team that brought the Persona series to life, and animation by Studio 4°C, known for anime movies ‘Memories’ and ‘Tekkon Kinkreet Black & White’, this is a masterwork in stylish presentation and design. Vincent’s heart is torn between two women. On one side sits Katherine, the girl who intends to wed Vincent someday. On the other, Catherine, who appeared out of nowhere. Both of them pull at his heart and soul. The story can take many paths, and the outcome of this romantic horror tale can go to unimaginable places. If you’re not constantly moving, you’ll fall with them. There’s no time to waste. The setting changes each night, rising higher and higher into the heavens. The more stages Vincent overcomes, the more complex the strategies required to progress will become. Various obstacles impede Vincent’s path. Some blocks are traps, waiting to skewer unwary climbers. Others explode, damaging everything around them. The sheep in the nightmare are desperate to survive until morning, too. They’ll get in your way, mess up your blocks, or even try to shove you off. You’ll need your wits and the help of strange items that can deal with the sheep, remove hazards or create new paths if you want to reach the top. Three Game Modes: Play through Vincent’s twisting story of love, lust, and self-determination in Golden Playhouse; Take on the tower’s challenges for high scores, single player or local co-op, in Babel; Face other players in local multiplayer to determine who is the better climber in Colosseum. The highlight of the level design is the form of random combination, that is, the scenes, monsters, equipment, and configuration of the props that the player is reborn after death are different from before, so that the game presents diverse characteristics, increasing the level variables and the game is fun. The "Bloody Spell" system is that, Yejin uses special skills in the body's evil spirit curse to achieve various effects such as violent walking, bullet time, roar breaking, assassination execution, counterattack and blood return, etc., which is to enhance the character's attack power and auxiliary combat. And to simplify the battle, add to the character and weapon attributes, and some even play a role in determining the battle. The system makes the combat part more flexible, more selective and versatile, while also ensuring the smoothness and refreshment of the battle. In addition, many interesting side quests, diverse survey elements, and mini games interspersed with them greatly expand the game's fullness and playability. We hope to see ten different players in ten different ways. If the enemy's threat is too great, you can use the bloodthirsty skills, assassinations, flying props, scene agencies to destroy them. Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition QLOC, Bandai Namco Studios Inc. / Bandai Namco Entertainment [top]

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Tales of Vesperia and the return of this fan-favorite role-playing game, first on Xbox360 in 2008, with the Definitive Edition. A power struggle begins in a civilization dependent on an ancient technology, the blastia, and the Empire that controls it. The fates of two friends traveling separate paths intertwine in an epic adventure that threatens the existence of all. Dive into the Definitive version of this game with updated full HD graphics, brand-new music tracks, exciting mini-games, bosses, and a collection of unreleased costume DLC. Two more playable characters join the fray: Patty Fleur, a cheerful and tough young pirate girl in search of treasure, adventure… and her forgotten memories; Flynn Scifo, Yuri’s best friend and an Imperial Knight, now joins the rest on their journey. This is the tenth game in the Tales of... series. The game's story takes place in the world of Terca Lumireis. This world is largely sustained by "blastia", a technology from an ancient civilization which can be used to perform a variety of tasks including powering the barriers which keep cities safe from monsters and helping knights in battle. After a war ten years ago, the world has settled into a more or less peaceful state consisting of the Empire which rules the land and various guilds which formed for those wishing to live outside the Empire's rule. The main character in the story is Yuri Lowell, a former Imperial Knight who now helps solve peoples problems in the lower quarter. After a blastia which regulates water flow in the lower quarter is stolen, Yuri attempts to catch the thief however ends up being thrown in jail instead. He then meets a mysterious girl named Estelle while escaping; she is coincidentally searching for Yuri's childhood friend Flynn, and from here their adventure begins. The gameplay is similar to other Japanese RPG's and games in the series. The player controls Yuri as he explores various locations and the story unfolds. Often opponents (both human and monster) can be seen on the screen and coming into contact will begin a battle. The battle system used is an updated variation from that in Tales of the Abyss. Battles are in real time and the player can move anywhere within the limited battle area. The player can run/walk, jump, guard, perform various basic attacks, utilize artes (more powerful magic attacks, however these are limited by the amount of the players technical points), and set the strategy computer controlled party members will use. Combo attacks are also possible where a series of normal and arte attacks are strung together to deal more damage to the enemy and prevent a counterattack. Successfully completing a battle allows players to level up. As players level up new skills are learned, attack abilities increase, hit points increase, and so on.

Boïnihi: The K'i Codex The Icehouse [top]

Release Date: TBA In 2062, the people of Terra discovered the Blue Matter System. With the help of this new technology, they were able to explore the galaxy in search for signs of intelligent life. One of these astronauts has been wandering through space for four years, and finally lands on a moon with no name, where a mysterious man used to live alone. Boïnihi was his name, and he was a solitary Talifan who had luckily survived the terrible events of Day Zero, long, long ago. Like ASA and Caytph before it, Boïnihi is a point-and-click first-person adventure with 360-degree panning, packed full of puzzles to solve. Unlike those games, however, Boïnihi is meant to be shorter, easier, and more accessible than its large-scale predecessors, though as anyone who has played those games can attest, "easier" is a relative term. Puzzle fans can still rest assured that the game will be challenging enough as you journey through another exotic faraway land. With four different regions inspired by Asian countries and mythologies to explore plus the K'i codex to translate, inspired by the famous Voynich manuscript along the way, the experience should provide more than three hours of gameplay.

Death of Erin Myers, The Viperante [top]

Release Date: TBA This is the first entry in a Short Story Series of point and click adventure games. It's an anthology series of five standalone traditional 1st-person pre-rendered point and click adventure games. This first game in the series is a dark and gritty mystery in which players step back in time and play as Erin Myers, in all the moments from her life that contributed to her death. The developer has been looking for ways to tell stories through the adventure game format that are a little different from the standard. Being fans of short stories, and the possibilities they offer in allowing the exploration of specific themes, ideas, characters, and incidents, they decided to create a series of short standalone games. Each game in the series will take approximately 2 hours to complete and will include all of the normal adventure game elements: exploration, talking to other characters, picking up and using items, and good old fashioned puzzle solving. And whilst each story will be a standalone experience, unrelated to other stories in the series, they will all share a certain dark and macabre subject matter, ranging in genre from mystery to horror to science fiction. This first game has you play as Erin Myers, a police detective who we already know will be dead by the end. The question is, how did she die, and why? By playing through certain key moments from Erin's life, players will learn who she was, the things she did, both good and bad, and finally, how all of that lead to her death.

Lingua Magicka BoomBox [top]

Release Date: Jan 31 This exists on an alternate Earth where magic developed side-by-side with technology. The ability for Casters to use magic on this Earth is directly linked to language. Words are imbued with power and act as catalysts to complete even the simplest of spells. In an effort to regulate and control the use of magic, the world's largest nations have created protective wards along their borders that restrict and regulate the use of magic. One of these regulations is that magic only works through the country's native language. If a Caster wishes to utilize his magic in a foreign country, he must, at the very least, take the time to learn some of the native language. You play as Trist, a student of magic under the tutelage of Professor Esperanto. Trist wants to be able to see the world, but he must first master some basic terminology in the native languages for the cultures he wishes to travel to, or else he be able to work even the simplest of magic. Imagine if you had to wash your own dishes simply because you couldn't enchant the dish towel. What a nightmare. It offers a fun way to learn basic vocabulary in a number of languages. While it will not make you fluent in another language, it's a great starting point for kids or adults of all ages to begin their education and exposure to a foreign language. While navigating a magical 3D world, players will be able to highlight every object by pointing and clicking on it with the mouse, revealing their translated name and pronunciation, recorded by native speakers, specifically for this adventure.

Release Date: TBA A classic style, hand-drawn adventure game, where the roaring 20s and Scandinavian mythology collide. This is a love letter to the classic point-and-click adventure games most of us on the team grew up playing, using a simple, era-inspired art style that helps to set the light-hearted tone of our glimpse into the swing music years of the United States. Players take the role of Lars Kristiansen, down-on-his-luck street magician and former low-level courier for the local mafia. Sinking under debt to the city's new crime bosses, a ruthless trio of sisters named the Swahns, Lars has three days to pay back everything he owes or, as he was so succinctly told, "else". What starts as a quick quest for cash quickly grows into something more as Lars stumbles a mysterious pendant that threatens to turn his whole life upside down. With danger, mysteries and odd occurrences around every corner Lars will have to use every trick in the book and then some to save his own skin... and just maybe the world, too. With design inspiration from classic creators such as Ron Gilbert, Roberta Williams and Tim Schafer and writing influence from writers such as Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and Grant Morrison, it aims to tell a light-hearted and intriguing story with truly cosmic implications, chock full of classic-but-sensible puzzle elements. With a planned length of between three and four hours, this was the first episode in a planned series of titles revolving around the setting and characters introduced in this game. Unfortunately, further episodes were cancelled and it was decided to release the first for free even though it was not fully finished.

They are introducing a new Special Move Gauge (Break Gauge) to the DEAD OR ALIVE series, adding a new dramatic strategic element to the fights. This element is made to be accessible and easy to use even for people who are new to the world of fighting games, and is activated by simply pressing the [RB] button. Break Hold - A convenient counter technique that can also be used while the player is heavily stunned. It should only be used in tight situations due to its light-damage output. Fatal Rush - A powerful combo with a dramatic finishing move, activated by consecutively pressing the [RB] button. While it is made to be easy to use for beginner players, it can also be employed in more than one creative way by the experienced competitors. New Danger Zones: Rumble Danger - If knocked into onlookers, they will push the player back into the center of the stage. It is a trap that combines the atmosphere of a real street fight with strategy. Mass-Destruction - If the opponent is knocked back into a large stack of boxes or barrels with a “Break Blow” or ”Fatal Rush” it will cause a large chain-explosion. This will lead to a huge burst of damage and produces an exhilarating rush.

The symarian necromancers, guardians of the dead, mistake you for the messiah sent to end this catastrophic reoccurence once and for all. Will you find the means that grant you passage back to your own body? What secrets will the land of Symaria, the desert nation of Shavra, hold for you. This is a small amateur game full of magic, adventure and a little romance. It has a dreamy, mystical feel in its pastel/aquarelle colored inspired graphics, sounddesign and lore. The gameplay centers around a symbiosis of puzzle and combat, driven by the story. There will be dialogue, a primitive inventory and a bunch of other mechanics which should be very polished for an FPS Creator Reloaded game. You will be able to cast magic and use alchemy.

Sonic The Hedgehog Gistix [top]

Release Date: TBA This is a fan-made version of Sonic The Hedgehog console game from 2006 and was made using Unity engine. It started almost 5 years ago, originally as a Blitz Sonic mod. It's a mix of the demo, final version, and a little bit of the beta altogether. It features the object placement and homing attack of the demo, most of the mechanics are like in the final version, and then there’s some bits of the beta build in the homing attack tricks. Most of the common objects have been ported, but the majority of the gimmicks are stage-related. They have tested other stages like Wave Ocean, White Acropolis or even the second Town Stage, Soleanna New City. But most of the stage's gameplay is compromised of specific objects and so far they have only got Kingdom Valley assets ported in to the engine. The original game takes place in the human world. Sonic meets Elise, the princess of Soleanna, which he quickly makes friends with. Unfortunately, Dr. Eggman quickly intervenes and kidnaps Elise in order to destroy the kingdom of Soleanna and its up to Sonic to rescue her. A line-up of characters from previous games make their returns including Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and a brand new character, Silver the Hedgehog. Sonic races through stages with blinding speed using the 3D elements similar to the Sonic Adventure games. Along with new gameplay elements, familiar features make a return. The gameplay is split up in action stages, fast levels with alternate pathways, and free-roaming town stages where the characters can explore the towns, talk to other characters, get new quests, and visit the shops, similar to the Adventure Fields from Sonic Adventure. During the game, three main characters can be controlled: Sonic, Shadow and Silver. There are 11 stages in total, and they are tweaked to the abilities for each of the characters. Sonic is the only one to have access to super speed stages, and he has custom abilities, such as the spin dash, light dash, homing attack, bounce attack, a sliding kick, a tornado kick, a mach speed dash and grinding. These are acquired in exchange for rings in stores. Sonic can also trade gems for special powers. Shadow's abilities are largely derived from Shadow the Hedgehog, with a focus on driving vehicles such as buggies, hovers, bikes and gliders. There are also various melee attacks, similar to those of Sonic, but Shadow does not use firearms in this game. The new character, Silver, is a time-traveling hedgehog. His main means of attack are psychokinetic powers. He can pick up and throw objects, and levitate. Additional abilities can be purchased in the in-game stores in exchange for rings. For certain missions, you take control of an amigo, automatically assigned in specific stages. Sonic gets the help from Tails and Knuckles the Echidna, Shadow's sidekicks are Rouge the Bat and E-123 Omega, and Silver is assisted by Blaze the Cat and Amy Rose. There are two multiplayer modes: Tag Mode (co-op) and Battle Mode (versus in a race for gold medals). The characters are voiced by the cast of the Sonic X animated TV series.

God Eater 3 Shift / Bandai Namco Entertainment [top]

Release Date: Feb 8 An action RPG game that focuses on fighting against hordes of huge monsters in a post-apocalyptic world using a wide arsenal of weapons and attacks. This takes place many years after the events of the second entry in the series and takes us again to the distant future, in which humanity is on the verge of extinction due to the appearance of beasts known as Aragami. Regular armies proved to be ineffective against them, thus the task of defending humanity was given to the titular God Eaters – a specialized warriors wielding powerful weapons known as God Arc that are the only way to hurt monsters. Players act as one of such fighters, but when the game starts, something bad is going on with God Eaters, with many of them coming closer and closer to the dark side. It expands on the ideas featured in the previous games, being an action-RPG title with a camera placed behind our hero. During the campaign, our main activities are missions that usually come down to killing all Aragami in a certain location, and some of them feature additional objectives or things to hinder our progress, e.g. time limit. As such, gameplay revolves around combat, which is based on complex and arcade battle system known from previous entries in the franchise. Players can use a huge variety of weaponry and types of attacks, and battles themselves are fast-paced. There are some novelties added to this scheme, like the ability to use two weapons at once, each held in one hand. Additionally, maps are much bigger and more varied, while enemies have more diversified attacks. This forces players to change tactics more often than in previous God Eater titles. It offers a huge campaign, which can be completed solo or in online cooperation mode. The game was designed in a way that allows other players to join or leave our session at any moment, meaning we can get help only during the most difficult missions and play the rest of the game by ourselves. It's the first game of the series developed mainly for stationary platform instead of handheld devices. This resulted in higher quality visuals and bigger maps filled with more enemies.

Unraveled takes you back in time with slick gameplay and a charming retro look reminiscent of the PSX days. Combat is infrequent, smooth and strategic - each battle feels unique and interesting. On the little girl's journey, her plush doll comes to life as a monstrously cute creature that aids her on her quest. However, as she traverses through the ship, the rotting environment takes its toll on the doll and he slowly starts unraveling... Can she find her parents before he has fallen apart completely? It features: a completely unique battle system based around each character's "State Balance"; Tomb Raider inspired platforming to make exploration fun and exciting; an 80s doll house that you can decorate for bonus effects; a beautiful story conveyed purely through "show, don't tell"; fantastical environments and enemies that will make you miss the days you fought against a dragon by throwing LEGO at it; gorgeous art scattered throughout the game; complimentary Steam Achievements and Trading Cards.
