VIRUSES

Postby wcb » Sun Aug 06, 2023 11:59 pm

Is there a way to report a serious virus contained within one of your uploads? Specifically the Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml Virus within the ...

"Hidden Expedition: Smithsonian Hope Diamond" (2014) hidden object game, or is this just a scare tactic from Microsoft so we don't download games?

these days, false positives are at a all-time high. Windows defender or whatever it is on modern variations of the OS, flags about everything as malicious.

i wrote in C a few apps, when i compile, it says it's malware. the joke here, is that it absolutely isn't malware, my software is a converter, not a trojan. It just gets flagged anyway as something totally unrelated.

no need to complain about ineffective / generalizing anti-malware solutions, it all sucks donkey-dongs.

solution is to drop windows, it's a OS that demands to be used in a dictated way (appstores), just get linux and wine. WINE on Linux supports older games much better than Microsoft OS's, it's perfect for me, and i read people play modern games even.

most people are too weak to change a habit, it's the only reason Microsoft still is a large player.
