these days, false positives are at a all-time high. Windows defender or whatever it is on modern variations of the OS, flags about everything as malicious.
i wrote in C a few apps, when i compile, it says it's malware. the joke here, is that it absolutely isn't malware, my software is a converter, not a trojan. It just gets flagged anyway as something totally unrelated.
no need to complain about ineffective / generalizing anti-malware solutions, it all sucks donkey-dongs.
solution is to drop windows, it's a OS that demands to be used in a dictated way (appstores), just get linux and wine. WINE on Linux supports older games much better than Microsoft OS's, it's perfect for me, and i read people play modern games even.
most people are too weak to change a habit, it's the only reason Microsoft still is a large player.
