Okay, I've heard this is one of the worst games ever released in terms of relativity to the graphics and standards of the time, but I still want to play it, does anyone know how to get it working on XP with SP2?

sure it works on XP but u need some programs like nolfb vdms
and so on

just look in my topic and visit the site insanefury talked about
download these programs (all!) then right click on the exe file

and select run with vdms !

i downloaded nam and i thougt i will never work but now i can play it !
like shadow warrior blood or duke nukem its the same engine so......

i download ww2gi again now and then i will tell u how it works which
settings u need etc !

but at first u need to download all these programs just visit
www.deathmask.net/buildxp

bye

okay all i can say is whatever i say now it just works with build engine
games

the trick is u when u have all these prgrams i talked about have installed
u need a destop shortcut like the ones on that site www.deathmask.net/buildXP

(i suggest u take that one from shadow warrior)

now the trick
edit the textfile so that the directorys are right with the game u want to
play exampe:

C:/games/SW/SW.icon

edit to: C:/games/ww2gi/ww2gi.icon ? got it ?

everthing u have to do is change all the wrong paths
then put this file in the ww2gi directory and rename it to ww2gi.vlp

but bevore u do this install all the programms and do that
what this site tells u www.deahmask.net/buildXP

thats it i guarantee it works then for me it works too and i have XP too

I'm gonna name my kid after you if this thing works

I played that game (as well as Nam) on my old pc and loved it, but that's probably just because of mine "i-love-crappy-games" fetish.

I knew I wasn't the only one with that weird fetish. Oh and I didn't even read the guys name before writing that, so be sure I won't name my kid whoremonger (that's what hurenbock means according to my german, which is bad, very bad)

To have the best sound quality look for a app named CLI2NOP by snover, see yourself how it works.
