It's a self-extracting WinRar exe...you can open it also in Winrar then extract from there.

When you download an .exe from YBC sometimes it does lose it's extension so all you need to do is rename and put .exe behind the name.

Good Luck

Oh.. now that's good! I though I was the only one who noticed that.. or who had that error.

Now I'm really appeased. :D

Check 'em yourself using the SFV file provided (usually in the first or last briefcase).

I apologize if there is none.. then someone will have to upload one :)

I installed Esoteria and it worked fine, however the game doesn´t run quite right. Somehow the menu graphics are messed up: the mouse cursor disappears most of the time, and when I want to configure the controls, all I see is erratic green lines instead of text. But I really have to costumise the controls because I just can´t play with the inverted mouseview which is there as default.

I believe the graphics problem is due to running it in Windows XP, but unfortunately I was never able to find a way to fix it. It doesn't have too much of an effect on the gameplay though.

OK, but it´s very uncomfortable to play it without adjusting the controls. Unfortunately the mykeys.cfg only consists of numbers, so I only can adjust it from there with massive trial & error. At least I managed to fix the reversed mosuelook by turning the first -1 in a 1.

had this problem a while ago. although I was using windows 95, it might work for newer versions. what I did was decrease the graphic acceleration (system properties, graphics, where you have the slider, slide it to the left, 1 or two notches. that should correct the garbled text. .... good luck, Denny

That slider is one of the things I can´t see... Anyways, I figured out the basic controls and played a little bit. I like the style of the game and there is some really good leveldesign so far.

no. I meant the slider for settings on windows. not a game setting.
if you go to (on your desktop) my computer, right mouseclick, to get system properties
and then under 'performance', click graphics. you will see a slider, controlling hardware acceration, running from left to right, none to full..... you probably have the slider all the way to the right.... slide it left 1 or 2 notches, reboot, and then try the game. should help..... denny
