SiX-Steam

Postby Alfredo » Sat Feb 12, 2005 7:45 pm

I downloaded SiX-Steam a while ago, and it worked perfectly, but now the prog won't download Half Life 2 anymore. It gives me the same error over and over again (servers are to busy), but all the other games work though. Is HL 2 not available anymore through Steam, or do I really have to be patient??

// EDIT:
Looks like I got something wrong here...

But people, please keep in mind that we don't concentrate on pirating or especially on recent games. Which means requests of brand new games and stuff.

Let me make sure my question is well understood... ;)

I downloaded Steam to try out CS Source, knowing that the VENGEANCE release didn't support online gameplay. HL² is nice to play, but I'm really fond of its massive multiplayer. I could easily acces their server, but downloading on smallband just sucks...
So at the beginning of the month, I tried to download it again, but I kept receiving the same "server full" error. My question is: should I buy Steam Silver (and does this solve the error), or are their servers really full, and should I wait untill they've upgraded them?

I'm not gonna spend $70 on a game, when I'm not able to play it...
