How to make Geforce4 Ti4600 support 16XAnisotropic Filtering

TI 4600 is very classic old VD playing old games,but according to the old IT news,I found that this card only support 8X Anisotropic Filtering, 16X Anisotropic Filtering is a key function for the old games to me,so is there any way to make this card support 16X Anisotropic Filtering?


including windows 98 and XP, thanks!

Not likely unless you hack its drivers for Win98 & WinXP.

I found mention that this particular card isn't very good at doing anisotropic filtering, but maybe that was just an early driver problem.

Anyway, you are probably stuck with 8X AF unless you want to try finding a better card for your classic gaming pc.

I have heard that some tools can make MX440 work on 16X AF,anyway,Really,16X AF is so nice,I can't beer with 8X AF

Maybe you could try an older version of RivaTuner.

Use 3danalyzer v236 ... simple solution to your problems
also there is DXWnd
