Did you try pressing all the keys on the keyboard, ie ENTER, SPACE BAR, ESC, F10, QWER... etc?

Also, did you try clicking the mouse?

I don't know how this game is put together, but it sounds like you're running a batch file which first loads a cracktro & then the game? Perhaps you could check if there's a HYBRID.exe or RUNME.EXE in the game folder & rename it? That way, the game might skip the Hybrid cracktro.

I pressed all keys and clicked mouse but without any results.
When i try to rename the HYBRID.exe file and than run ROTH.exe i get a message like " it's a shitty thing, we want to have advertisement bla bla bla" and the gama crashes.

hmmm perhaps the HYBRID.EXE works as a resident protection loader, so it's needed to run the game.

I'm out of ideas here, I think I remember having a smilair issue with an other game, I didn't get it to run on WinXP, when I tried it on my Win98SE machine it worked (could just press ESC in the Hybrid intro).

hi!

try this: roth.exe @roth.res

the game has no protection out of the box (at least my version).
hope it works for you. it's a great game.
good luck.

Sorry but I don't have any idea what this "roth.exe @roth.res" expression mean.
Could you possibly explain it to me??

there should be a file called roth.exe in the realms directory. if not it's probably renamed to something other. you could create a batch file with the command i mentioned earlier, or you could use the command line. start cmd.exe and change the directory to where realms is installed and type "roth.exe @roth.res" without the quotation marks of course. without the argument @roth.res the exe won't properly start. try it and if you need the original exe just ask.
if you need sound emulation and you have vdmsound properly installed then type in the dosbox "dosdrv" and then "roth.exe @roth.res".

best regards
