the problem seems to be in the wav - mp3 convertion, i believe the .bat file (not the renamer, the converter) misses the first file to start the conversion, then failing all the rest of the process.

ive been researching about the error, and it appears to be a problem in the l3dec system; it cannot convert mp3 to wav, due a system error. anyone has a solution?

ah ... i'm no expert at this sorta fing, but perhaps you could convert the mp3's to wav's separately, using a proggie called dbpoweramp.
does my status as a super member come with a free supply of bier-und-schnapps ?

actually, im right now trying this... but i dont know what frecuency uses l3dec to convert mp3 to wav (actually, i began to study this yesterday, so, i could use a hand of someone knowledgeable about multimedia; as far as i know, l3dec converts to 24-bit ratio wavs, but i dont know if its mono or stereo, and
other options of the program you said.. and im preparing another *.bat to replace the one in the file uploaded, to get it working :D)

bad news my friend; i studied a while mp3 - wav converting science, and i tried to convert them (the wavs are suppossed to be 24 bits, mono, no parity) BUT there are a few bad mp3 files (unopenable) so that means, that there are mainly 2 errors; 1, the bat file is misconfigured, and 2 the mp3 files
are (not all) wrong.

The game isnt completely unplayable if you dont mind not having any sound that is... Some of these steps you might not have to do but i dunno cause i did them all at once... What I first did was make a renamer that renamed all the .mp3s to .wav. Then i ran the Conv.exe file. After that I downloaded the demo and installed it and then ran the full version .exe. I then turned off all the sound in the options menu and it worked but obviously without sound...If your really desperate go for it, if not then dont bother...
