I remember using this fix way back, I will confirm that it still works in Windows 10 in a few minutes/hours.

Still works in Windows 10, but you will need to add a framerate cap or else you can only look up and down

Framerate cap settings that worked for me™

You can also add a custom resolution, but the main menu will be cropped. The EXE is taken from the sequel by the looks of it, but for some reason simply copying and pasting the one from the sequel didnt work for me, while the above upload does.

Custom res
"screenwidth" "2560"
"screenheight" "1440"

Take a backup of that file autoexec.cfg before changing it, as the game wont autogenerate a correct one after deleting it. Had to reinstall the game myself.

Depending on how you run the game, the autoexec.cfg file might be hiding here
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Valusoft\Navy SEALs

Couldnt get custom resolution to work with the sequel, just crashes to desktop on anything above the highest which is 1280x960. Although my monitor reports it as 1280x10240.

Despite there being a objective marker the game can be confusing at times, so here is a longplay video.

Game is playable to completion with this method, although the FPS cap seems to almost introduce some kind of strange lag. Like you are playing a multiplayer game with a high ping.
