Please, I'm trying to run this version of Ys SEVEN: https://www.legendsworld.net/site/downl ... irror=9639

It says it comes with a crack, but applying the crack is not changing a thing. Some protection window still pops up asking for a serial of some sorts to unlock the game.

GOG and Steam version won't work for me either.

Having said that, can someone help me running the version I downloaded from that link?

Seems like another updated Windows DRM deprecation issue; so even if one does go the distance of attempting to fix it up, it wouldn't matter anyway AFAIK (even the legit users on the official forum complained with zero response; possibly the distributor itself just silently bailed and closed down, can't confirm) - so, uh, use Revo Uninstaller and this (and maybe some registry cleaner or manually remove traces with REGEDIT or something, not sure)

That torrent link wouldn't download for me but got the GOG version elsewhere and am upping it for us.

Getting 5-7 full seeds on me end here, dunno what's yer issue Me saying that latest repack would suit Kaisen the best is because methinks he's going fer the initial vanilla undub quality experience (at least that's me interpretation of the OP - supposedly the current worldwide digital distros are inferior in terms of GFX quality and some other features), otherwise why else would he ask fer running that vintage build - dunno

POSSIBLE SOLUTION: In case the repack from Rin doesn't jive to some, the mods from it be installed manually on the GOG rls ( to Scaryfun for upping ) - follow this guide (the DL in Step 1 is confirmed to be the complete GFX dump from the troubling Chinese release in question), and afterwards apply the 8x upscaling if wished for by referring to one of these repos
