Havent tried the game myself yet, but if anyone have weird compatibility issues this might be worth a try

Slightly modified version of the game.
Fixed bugs with graphics.
Fixed bugs with sound that could cause the game to crash.

Update:
Works great with the EU release.

Use XP service pack 3 for stability on loading, there is also a text/hud bug when you run the game at 2560x1440. Thought it was a starforce issue at first, but it is actually a resolution issue., as it disappeared when I turned down the resolution.
