Since Win9x emulation can be troublesome on Ryzen systems. I figured out how to makes this game work in Windows 11 with otdvm.
Install OTDVM
Install the game with everything checked including languages.
Copy Start16 from the CD into the game directory.
Enable 256 color compatibility mode on Start16.
You can use Resomatic to change the resolution of the game, as it was made with 640x480 in mind. Create a shortcut for Start 16 with the proper settings (640x480 60hz). The built in Windows Compatbility mode for 640x480 didnt work properly for this game.
Weren't able to get the game to run from the CD as it would complain about a missing disc. While the game does have a Start32 executable which will launch, you will just get endless script errrors if you do that. Realize most people dont care about Scandinavian edutainment games from the 90s but I do
This is for the old Nordic release of the game.
You can change the language in Magnus .ini afterwards
Norwegian = N
Danish = D
Swedish = S
Finnish = SF
Or Press F7 during gameplay and you can select the combination you want.

If you want to emulate it instead I confirmed that this PCem build works, if you dont want to spend time setting it up yourself.
