The savefiles should be placed here if you run the game as an admin:

Only managed to load the second level one time on both of my systems, sadly the game crashed shortly after I got into the level. The scripting also appeared to have been broken from the little I got to play from it, it could have been like that from the "developer" though.

I'm thinking it some sort of memory allocation issue, managed to get into the second level on more time
Had to restart my system because I disabled GPU scheduling as a troubleshooting step. Although I really think a fresh start was what got me into the level. The second level does seem to be less stable than the rest of the game though. 
If you want to try Dgvoodoo use the 9800GT preset it has, the others dont seem to work for this game.
