problems running Terminator Rampage

Postby 3dzocker » Wed Jul 06, 2005 2:29 am

Yesterday i tried playing TR.
I mounted the image with Daemon Tools 3.47.
First thing, i didnt find an installer - so i copied all files in a directory of my choice.
Starting g.exe under Windows XP wasnt a success > nothing happened.
I installed DOSBox-0.63, mounted the drives in DOSBox > but starting g.exe now, i got an error message, that no MSCDEX is started/loaded.

Any solutions???

If the game only checks for MSCDEX, you could try to mount the image as a cdrom in dosbox:
Code: Select all
mount d c:\Rampage -t cdrom
That will fake a CD drive D:, substitute C:\Rampage with the directory of your choice you used to copy the image's contents to.

Perhaps that helps?

set the core to "dynamic" in dosbox.conf,
and then higher the cycles with CTRL+F12 or something like that
