When i click the icon to play Silent Hill 4 i get a popup saying

Check :

#1 Have you Installed Deamon Tools ? Yes ? Deinstall it ! ! !
#2 Do you have an GForce MX Card ? Buy an FX or Ti ! ! !
#3 Latest Driver for any Card you have ?

Because - D3d8.dll - is about Direct 3D (8? I dont know.maybe the port). So watch out that everything is up to date ! And about the D-Tools. The most Computers can't start up the game because they can't accept the DVD.

Or try to search all your HD (Hope you know how to search a data) about this *.dll. if you find it put it in the install directory !

i don't have the dll on my HD

d3d8.dll comes with DirectX8, but since DirectX9 also includes it, just install this. you can get it on microsofts site.

yea last night when i asked this for hours and then when i said

i don't have the dll on my HD

i installed DirectX9 and found out i need a better computer to even play Silent Hill 4 Demo



So a mod or admin you can lock this problem solved i need better computer LOL
