Max Payne Audio Addon

the max payne audio addon ( music / speech ) at 3dsl site is it something like the original files ... will they work for all the Sound channels and Variations ( LOW / MEDIUM / HIGH ) in the settings of Max Payne ??

dunno about this one, but cause of your other question: generally audio files are compressed lossy. so not the original files, but in most cases you will hear no difference. and yes, they will in 99,9% work in all settings, except if noted otherwise in the NFO (never seen such a thing, tho).

192kbit/sec audio quality ( addons )
whats the quality of original audio??

Because i tried to run max payne on different variations and channels but i dont think there was any difference between those!! .. i tried to notice differences in bullet sounds e.t.c .. is there some kind of software to check all that??

why the heck do you wanna know? if it works, it is OK.......

192 kbps is a quality setting known from MP3...... original files (and decoded ones from the addon) are WAV, which is different.....

and believe me, they are nearly identical in quality.......

and this means: don't even think more on this. the game DOES behave exactly like with the original files. there is NO difference in any means you would notice.

ok i will leave it after u tell me this thing :P :
Why am i not noticing ANY KIND OF DIFFERENCE in the game audio effects when i try to run the game sounds on different variations and different number of channels?

cause the difference is so minimal that you cannot notice. just PLAY the f*cking game!
different audio settings is just to support older computers which do not have the capabilities and the speed for higher quality....
