Devil Inside crash

Postby sep » Wed Oct 26, 2005 1:56 pm

I've downloaded the Devil Inside Rip-it extracts ok, i use the crack, set up the videocard and start the game. The menu & menu sounds are OK, start new game, it load and when the into movie start it quit. Is this a codec or winXP problem, or something else? (I've got an Ati 91000+integrated sound c-media sound card + Ace Mega Codecs Pro) /On my dude's CPU, with win2000 on it, the game is running perfectly)
:?:
plz help

I guess it's a WinXP problem.. again.

Don't know off hand.. does the rip have movies? If so it also might be a codec problem though I expected an error message in that case.

I think, by default there aren't movies in the rip, but the crack extracts a 'video' folder, with two (into-outro) files in it. I tried to delete them, but after that the game reguires the cd... sux
May it work with an other crack?

thanks for help

If it works for your friend with the same crack I guess it should for you.
In that case it's really the WinXP problem again I'm pretty sure. Seeing how old the game is it seems to make sense.
