Ok i think i got the Razor rip of this game wich is 150mb but on the site the rip is 200+mb....am i missing something?...btw anyone got the NFO for the razor rip?...and does wages of sin work with my rip ?

The razor rip might be compressed better... that's all

The one on 3DSL isn't the 'official' rip.

And btw. you're "just" missing the speech, music.... better grab the addons from 3DSL!

The Wages of Sin probably will work. I made it work with the 3DSL rip of Sin (which can't be THAT different

)

Guess you have to try it yourself. Should be worth the thing. Nice games though

the 3DSL rip seems to be missing an intro movie (in AVI format), dont have a clue if theres an ending AVI though as i didnt finish the game. i found that out from one of the game files, i forgot which one but if you know the Quake 2 engine well enough then you can find it yourself.

yes, there is a ending movie, an intro (non-story, thou) and company logo...

umm hellsgate can u put a link to the nfo...for obvious reasons

...and can anyone make a movie addon too

EDIT: anyone updated their rip to 1.11....i want to know if it has cd-checks on it as i can't seem to find a crack for that version only for 1.01, 1.03 & 1.05...i know is an unofficial patch...

How can i make Wages of sin iso works with the 3DSL rip of SIN? don't tell me that with the update patches, that doesn't work. Can some one give me a fix?

H E R E is my version of that. It's quite some weeks old now but it wasn't posted on the site since no one else than I could prove it really works that way.

If you want to test that ... it worked at least for me!

damn i updated to 1.03 the original game w/o the MP...and it sucks...the sound is alot crappier than the original v1.0....i'll have to test it with the MP...hope it works better

Ok i found the original nfo of wages of sin by PDM...and it says:

REQUIREMENTS: RZR rel. of Sin + RZR Update to v1.01 installed

So i got the RZR rip

...but i can't seem to find that cracked update...so i think that's the reason why some ppl can't get to run WoS with the rip on the site

....if anyone sees this and has that update please share it wit us

I just DL the update patch from dlh.net V1.0 to 1.11 = 31.2mb - riped the patch and dumped to my sin dir and played without any cd check coming up at all - unless it asks it for multiplayer - by the way I have no reg setup either and game runs perfect

I just scanned the .exe too and found what looked like the cd check - it has been NOP'd out (90909090) - I can give you direct access to unpacked patch if you like - check your PM in 5 minutes dude
