State Of Emergency

Postby AraC » Thu Dec 30, 2004 5:27 pm

Hi, I have a serious problem with this game. Unpacking and installing were fine but now the game runs too fast.
It's very fast. What can I do to slow down the gameplay or animations. Is there any button like + or - ?

Or maybe there is an program that can slow down this game.
Please help me out.

Sounds like a video card problem to me too

Liam(hardwarenerd)oneal here. It sounds like a video card problem to me too. Especially if the game is a win32 one. What kind of card do you have and do you have the latest drivers installed. Sometimes it's not a good idea to upgrade drivers since they add functionality. Also some overclocked machines will do the same thing you describe. You aren't overclocking are you?

No I'm not overclocking.
Got a GForce 4 TI 4200 8X !

State of Emergency has the GTA3 engine, by the way. So it a very got quality. GTA runs fine. But maybe it's because SOE is primarily made for Console.

I don't know :x

Try running an app like CPU Killer (windows), or Mo'Slo (DOS). It'll slow your PC down, allowing you to play it at legacy speeds.

Useful Tools thread.
