SUMMARY
James Bond 007: Nightfire is a 2002 first-person shooter, mainly created for the consoles but also has a PC port. Despite it's lackluster impact with PC gaming, it still has a following amongst PC gamers and there are two websites of note for those who want to partake in this lesser-known FPS of yesteryear (yes, I suppose that the year 2002 can now be safely considered as "yesteryear").
The first is http://nightfirepc.com/, a bare-bones website that caters more towards the multi-player crowd. This website features (presumably) a fan-made patch and the entire game(?) in case you can't find it anywhere else. There's no forum but, no worries, because...
The other website is http://www.nightfiresource.com/, which is a fan-produced effort to recreate the Nightfire game but in the Source engine (the one that uses Half-Life 2). The game is actively being created (the latest version is v0.0.6.6., released in February 2016) and is free to play although you need to be a community member in order to download the alpha/betas. The two sites seem to be inter-related to one another and this is the one with an actual message board. Enjoy.
