The Mount & Blade games are pretty much typical 3rd person 3d action-adventure game. Only they are very open ended and involve a great emphasis on traditional role playing aspects as well such as leveling up, fighting bad guys and getting quests.

You can also explore towns and interact with different people who you can get information from and sometimes even get minor quests. You can also get married (in Warband,) fight in tournaments, and trade goods. Quite a bit to do in this game.

But, yeah, the games are definitely worthy of having entries on Adventure Legends because it's prety much like other RPG 3rd person action-adventure games, only the battles are on a grander scale.
