Entry Revamp - Christmas Carnage / XMas Carnage

Postby Steve » Tue Aug 07, 2012 1:07 am

Here is review of the section for "Christmas Carnage / XMas Carnage" (1994):

INFO -

The present link for "Infos" presently goes to a German webpage in German that, based on a Babel Fish translation, does not contain any information about Christmas Carnage (or any other game, for that matter):

http://www.ego-shooter.org/articles.php ... le&datei=5

POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT:

This link may be used as a substitute, as it contains some information about Christmas Carnage and is in English:

http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/xmas-carnage

This link also provides information about Christmas Carnage, contains screenshots & a download of the game (It mentions this website) but is in a foreign langauge (Spanish?):

http://www.arcades3d.com/descargas/cc/cc.var

SCREENSHOTS -

1 - This link presently redirects to a webpage that is a directory for games and, based upon a spirited search for the game, does not contain the game or screenshots for that game:

http://www.webgamelist.com/pages/sshots ... uter+Games

2 - This link presently goes to a "The requested page could not be found" page that lists several possible games, one of which is the correct one (Xmas Carnage). No screenshots:

http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/chris ... creenshots

POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT:

This link is the new location for screenshots in Mobygames for Xmas Carnage:

http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/xmas- ... creenshots

VIDEOS -

There are presently no video links for this game. Two such links and one music link was located:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WULmheQqsE8
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uA72ud4ZMK8 (music only, no gameplay video)

Great, your contribution is much appreciated! Sometimes using webarchive will let you see websites that have gone offline, though graphics are most often broken.

Shame on websites that change their urls resulting in broken links too.
