Along with hex-edited files for CD-check removal, HarpyWar also posted a Full Demo (vanilla, English). Believing apart from the check removal and DIABDAT addition, no mods for improving modern systems' compatibility have been made. Tried salvaging my 8+ years old pirated cd-r into some use and failed (crashes & freezes, inability to manually apply later patches), now I'm to see how this one's going to perform...

UPDATE: Works flawlessly but, as stated, it's vanilla, but made it work with dxwnd on host, plus gave that W98 VMDK a whirl, all good there as well Recommending it for listing on AL
