Suggestion: Prince of Persia 3D

Postby ILikeScaryFun » Thu Nov 04, 2004 9:53 pm

Hi guys!!! :hi:

Browsing the list of games, well, as I'm working on the console pages, so I'm having the full knowledge of how many games the 3DSL site contains.

I did not find the Prince of Persia 3D.

Well, I need to say that I have Prince of Persia 3D, It's a very nice game, but they are 2 CD's. And I don't have time neither bandwith (dial-up user) for upload a ripped version of it:

So, I don't need it.

It's a cool and an awesome game  Arabian nights. A must have game.

I have also the old DOS games, Prince of Persia and Prince of Persia 2, and some console versions: Genesis/MegaDrive, Master System, NES.

On SNES version I have the two versions Prince 1 and Prince 2

and I have a Game Boy Advance console version from "Prince of Persia: Sands in Time."

Of course, that the Prince1 and Prince 2 and Prince of Persia: Sands in Time are not First Person Shooter Games.

And the Prince 3D is not a full featured first person shooter game. It's something like Tomb Raider and the correct section to place it is on "Special Area"

I already saw it on eMule for download the CD's ISOS

So I think that the 3DSL site must have this game, is a cool game, I have played it.

This is only a Suggestion. OK?

Thanks and bye, bye!!!

Is there any shooting at all in Prince Of Persia 3D? If not, then best to leave it out as we already said no to Rune before which is also sword fighting.

Anyways, I still think of 3D Shooters being first-person shooters. IMO, it's OK to take away part of this definition: you'll get a 'Special Area' game: third-person shooter game, since all that changed is the view.

However, Prince of Persia doesn't only have a different view, it's not a Shooter per se, as Scaryfun pointed out, so it's best left out.

Actually, I think there's basic shooting in PoP 3D 2, but that's got to come out yet... ;)

Hey, guys!!!

I understand what mean "First Person Shooter Games" and I have the knowledge about the concept of it.

And the POP 3D is played as a third view (behind) games and mainly I know that on POP 3D you play with a sword.

But what we can say playing Hexen (first version) with the "Fighter" character. Of course that the "Cleric" and "Mage" characters have shoot-type weapons. But, hey. Hexen have a first person view. I know about it.

The "Fighter" character have these 4 weapons:
- Your punchs (be like a Mike Tyson) :P
- An axe (use blue mana) and this weapon don't thrown any projectilles
- An hammer (use green mana) at a close distance this weapon don't trown any projectiles but on a wide distance it thrown some projectiles
- An sword (use both blue/green mana) and thrown a sort of green ray.

Or what you can say about games such Quarantine.

hehhheheh, Maybe we can add the POP 3D as a Third-Person-Sworder.
:P

hehehehhe, Come on, guys, feel the blade of my slicing sword. :P

hehehhehh, I will slice everybody here with my awesome sword. :P

hehehhehee, What do you think about creating some entries?

First-Person-Sworder and Third-Person-Sworder :P  :x

hehehehheheheh, Or I will put everybody here in quarantine.
:x :x :x :x :x

Anyway, I made only a simple suggestion, All right!!! Men!!!

come to think of it, GTA 1 & 2 are more suited in that section. i mean look at those games, they involve shooting but the view is top-down (so is Take No Prisoners and MageSlayer), so why not those?
