Game Entry 1996: Harvester - A Strange and Twisted World

Postby deltax » Sat Nov 27, 2004 12:41 pm

Hi!

I think this game should be in the Special Area from 1996:

You wake up one morning to a town full of strangers and inexplicable sights. You share your home with your not so perfect family and your supposed fiance lives next door. The you are plunged into a nightmare. Your fiancee is missing and you find a hideous bloody skull and spinal chord drapped across her bed! Is it hers? What is going on? The only clue left behind is an engraved MOON", a mysterious organisation that controls the town in ways you don't (or can't) understand. Is the order behind this gruesome execution? What invitation to enter, "THE ORDER OF THE HARVEST are their motives? One thing is certain. You're going to get to the bottom of this killing or die trying.

Isn't this some kind of violent adventure game? If so, this would mean games like Phantasmagoria are 3D Shooters too? :p

Is your character in it able to shoot? All the other survival horror ones I've added so far have that capibility.

YEAH, you can take a weapon (Shotgun, 9mm, etc.) and have to kill monsters & people. In Phantasmagoria, you can`t.

Harvester is firs time an adventure, later an action game like Resident Evil
Find the key -->Kill enemies --> exit

No, there isn`t a rip!

I have the Game as original at home (about 3 CDs)

If you compress the 3 ISO-Files with WinUHA its about 600 MB (1 CD)

I can't believe it !
I've got the 3CD, and when compressed with uharc, the 1st cd iso is about 420mo !
2nd cd, 400mo
3rd, 400mo
Of course with maximum uha compression.

If you want, you can upload it on French Kiss abandonware  'cause if his size is really 600mo, I want it !
I don't upload it for the moment, due to the huge size it takes.

Did you just say this or have you actually made that? Because I can't believe it. Really... I can't.

deltax: the link you posted linked to an ftp server, hacked and filled by others. Please don't spread that kind of information here.
