what`s ripped info for the RIPS on 3DSL MAIN PAGE

Postby hurenBock » Fri Apr 04, 2008 7:34 pm

hi

already said this here >
http://www.legendsworld.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=3452 ( last post )

and i think this would be a cool addition to the quality of the site
cause its always good to know what has been ripped and what not.....

i think some decisions to download a rip or not are made by the fact if much or nearly nothing`s ripped......

or just adding a link to the original nfo
making that link separate that people dont have to open the file folder first
and have to search for it.......

what do you think bout it ??

If you want the real quality, all rips should be removed. And never be upped again, only full images. :)

lol otis why you dont like rips i really want to know that
i mean there must be a reason why you hate them.......

and the stuff you said about quality and rips......

man everybody can create and upp an ISO its that easy that even kids could do it......

but making a rip is difficult stuff for sure its harder than creating an image lol

so a rip contains more skill and quality factors then an ISO

Why? because rip isn't a full game, just a part of it and I like only full. Plus, the game has some value only if its full.

well thats a fact i understand
cause i dont like it too

when half of the game`s main features r missing......

but remind and think of it that rips r demos without any play time / level limitation
well thats the point of view the creators have

but of course many ppl make use of that and never buy the full game....

well what i really wanted to say was that i only download a rip when all addons r avaible too

in most cases.......

just image you get a CD of your favorite band and you pay nothing as its a " full demo "
lol now imagine the cd has 18 tracks and 3 of them can be heard in full quality and full length

but if you want more and everything you have to buy that cd and that will cost you something........

i would say...one could say that this is some kind of persuasive advertising
and the only ones who benefit from it r the company and the developer who made the game / sell it

but this surely depends on the relation how many ppl dl the rip and never buy the game and how many ppl buy the game cause theyve seen the rip.....

well i think a rip release can push the sales figures........ but after all its nothing bad when groups release a rip of an well hyped game........

cause ppl who want a game badly i.e they want to play online too
will always buy the original game

you see, I was born in the country which is filled with rips. Until I've got adsl I've been buying pirated rips. I still cant forget it. At that time nobody could actually buy games. There were some very popular games in big shops, but the prices... 2-3 times higher then in US or other civilised countries. So, ya, I hate rips like nothing else. :-x :-x :-x HATE'em!!! HATE russian pirates!!!

well you decide what you choose / download

ISO or RIP

but youre right an ISO / IMAGE is always better than a RIP
but rips have something thats based on skill and magic

and its all about competition , well it was a few years ago......
do you remember MYTH pwning CLASS ? lol

Yeah, that's probably the way a lot of people over there feel. I bet that why there are so many open ftps, so people can share stuff rather than getting screwed by some bastard trying to make a buck selling pirates.
