I've got a bunch of old games I can up...

Postby Trey » Thu May 20, 2010 11:49 pm

I volenteer at a thriftstore and somebody brough in a bunch of old games I can copy if anyone wants clones of them:

Doom shareware /CD- dated 1995
Doom 2 /CD- dated 1994
Monkey Island 2 /5 floppy disc version- dated 1991
Curse Of Monkey Island /2 CD - dated 1997
Titanic Adventure Out Of Time /2 CD Hybrid -dated 1996
Titanic The Lost Mission /CD -dated 1998
King's Quest V /CD -no date
Law & Order Dead On The Money /3 CD - dated 2002

Anything anyone wants?

The only one not on AdvLgds is Titanic Lost Mission which is by Cyberflix, says 'Based on the CyberFlix game Titanic Adventure out of Time'.

Also the Doom CD contained this doc:

Thanks for carrying DOOM on your BBS.

Archive Filename:
We prefer you give DOOM a filename of DOOM12.ZIP.

Archive Separation:

To help make your life easier we are providing our games in a
format that is easy for you to divide into smaller downloadable
chunks and still be simple for the user to install.

Extract all the files from the BIG archive and separate them as
detailed:

Archive 1: DOOM12-1.ZIP
FILE_ID.DIZ
INSTALL.BAT
DEICE.EXE
*.DAT
*.1

Archive 2: DOOM12-2.ZIP
FILE_ID.DIZ (last line modified to read disk 2/x)
*.2

and so on.

When finished be sure to copy the FILE_ID.DIZ to each archive
and modify it so the last line reflects what number disk the
archive is.

electronic distribution system please drop a note to Dan Linton

Ths CDs label was lying, I checked out the files on it most are dated 1996, but a couple of the docs are from 1997. It's small, I'll up it anyway and you can check it out.

What for? It's the same as all other subsequential releases. There's no point of wasting time on it.

I reckon it's not big, so you won't be wasting much time on it. Thanks Otis.

The version on the site is also 70 MB packed, it's 170 MB unpacked. You can upload it if you want, so we can compare them.
