Well, it's almost here, the beautiful game of Doom 3. I'm getting it as soon as it's available, and I have high hopes for this title. According to the PC Gamer review, it's scary as hell.. I never played the leaked alpha, but people who did say that even that simple preview was awesome...

Any thoughts?

 That's pretty funny, I saw the same pic somewhere, only with about 100 floppies, instead of those CD's. =D

I heard about those PC Gamer scans, but never saw them.. Great pics. And yeah, this engine will probably be used for many games now..

Check out new footage of the game as well:

<a href='http://doom3.planet-multiplayer.de/download.php?view.42' target='_blank'>http://doom3.planet-multiplayer.de/download.php?view.42</a>

It's a 12 meg download, and I must say, I cannot wait for this game to come out.

Low-End:
1.5GhzP4 or equivalent
512MB Ram
Geforce4 Ti 4800 or Radeon 9500

Mid-Range:
2.4GhzP4 or equivalent
1GB RAM
Geforce5950 or Radeon 9800 Pro/XT

High_End:
3.4GhzP4 or AMD equivalent
2GB RAM
GeForce 6800 Ultra or Radeon X800 XT PE.

these arent official, i think, so wait till it hits the shops and upgrade it then.

but iguess the game will run fine on my 1.6ghz, 256ram, gf2mx :D

doom3 alpha ran almost fine* on my pc so i expect retail version run even smoother. lets forget the requirements discussion, let talk about "what do we expect from the game"
i expect supersmart AI, that not just attacs, but makes desissions on your actions

Me too.. Funny that the review never mentioned AI..

I expect lots of moments where your running backwards through tight corridors while watching a big ass drooling demon jumping from wall to wall, making terrible sounds and shaking the ground..
