Forgot to mention, the glitching can sometimes get too severe that the HUD ceases display (as well as the fog/sand layer in the pause menu), fixable with a game restart (not reload), me thinks trial's code is to blame more (same occurence no matter what shader setting in the ini), as in not yet being fully bugfixed, thus being timed initially. As for other issues (and additions) thanks for responding

When I wrote a simple multisample AA (1-16x) external plugin, I got similar problems - parts of HUD sometimes disappears, sand/fog layer pause is gone on some stages. Never understood why that happens but at least it didn't excess bloom or white screen me. Scrapped it to the bin later.

Can't tell what, but AA it ain't (I have it at NONE). Filtering didn't matter as well. VSync did matter, but to what extent I wasn't sure (my guess ON forced the issue faster). Last two radio-buttons checked. The rest of the graphics options not touched except resolution (1366x768x32, 60hz). That is all I know of to report...

Can't you force AA from your graphics cards control panel or if that doesn't work use an injector along the lines of SweetFX?

Feeling stupid, never tried SweetFX yet on XP. AA usually slows down fps by too much so I normally leave it off but wanted to test it with this game to see what it'd look like. And "of course", I never thought of forcing it via control panel either. Young and dumb.

Well to be fair I've never tried SweetFX on XP. It may not even work. ReShade needs Windows Vista or higher to function and I'm not sure of the OS requirements of SweetFX.

Edit: SweetFX v2.0 will definitely not work on XP because it relies on Reshade to function.

SweetFX update - turning off AA but using default options makes images crisp and more colorful (less washed out). I'm using SFX from now on!

As a reward, I played around with Warrior Within decap code some more. And I've found the approximate censor switch in the EU collector's edition exe! Sneaky people though - if you turn it on, it complains about a DualShock2 controller not inserted. So I've been kludging around the code and chopped the archer in half. Have to narrow this down some more first.

But it's doable! Heck yes! Go unprotected DRM version. :dance: :dance: :revolution:

Saw the video... maybe they packed data files differently for trial game? It's missing some special effects and I'm thinking retail exe is reading format wrong way = not compatible.


After some discussion, I'm told that I should make 2 separate releases. One just for nocd exe crack and other for uncensor mod. Some sites will not distribute any type of crack but a decapitation mod is okay.


This is uncensor mod - works on (any) version, legit or cracked. Tested on uncracked US SF3 and (un)cracked Collector's Edition. Works okay with RLD also.

Note that this will break my US nocd. So I'm working on rebuilding the US exe to be compatible with mod.

I'm going to assume MS AV is going to flag any dll modification I make. Even Pac-Man World 2 or Arkanoid patch.dll.

I could make some standalone decensor crack T2T exes for EMEA releases (RLD, Collector). And repack all of them into 1 release including US.


Unfortunately dll mods are going to be sometimes the only practical way to do this. If AV flags as bad, not so sure I can do anything about it. But if someone lets me know, I'll make a try to fix it.

Wouldn't MS AV flag the Securom iphlapi.dll crack as bad also? That'd kill a lot of nocd games.
