doom 3 (original 2004) rip

Postby roboticmehdi » Mon May 15, 2023 7:15 pm

Hi.

I was wondering if there is 2004 original doom 3 rip highly compressed, perhaps some sort of class rip.

Why is there no such rip, is it because no one did or it's not possible.

Best Regards to all.

Standard Rip Rules (SRR 2004 rev) dictate a maximum amount in size of 275MB (55x5MB).

Since this was a very large game, it couldn't be ripped to the size that was required, like some other games in 2004 like GTA San Andreas. Groups did try though ^^

SRR 2004: https://scenerules.org/t.html?id=srr_rules.nfo

There were some repacks of bfg:
doom.3.bfg.edition-black.box
doom.3.bfg.edition.multi5-elamigos Download

Try this: https://the-eye.eu/public/Piracy/A_upda ... AR-TWC.rar
Use wingrep if you're on Windows to query the datafile, or just grep if you're using Linux.

Surprising indeed, most editors can't handle such sizes.
