So, we have narrod it down to the ram? correct?


Check with you're motherboards manual/site, see if the ram is complient with you're mobo..

Also check you're other stick/s of ram, the latency's for each stick might be different and cause problems.. I know the ram would usually underclock if its "faster" then you're other sticks, maybe it refuses to work at that speed?

Google the ram and see if you can find a decent review on it.

I'd recomment to try getting an extra PC for old stuff. Like the one I got for a buck (yep.. ONE). It's a P2 even :)

You should get stuff like that everywhere. Almost..
